About 30 to 35 minutes east on I-74, a groomer whose whole day is booked one dog at a time.
Crawfordsville families take I-74 east toward Indianapolis and exit at State Road 39 for Lizton, about 30 to 35 minutes door to door. From the exit it is only a couple of minutes to the shop.
That is a real drive, so it is worth knowing what you get at the end. There is no waiting room and no shuffle between a bather and a groomer. The same person does the whole groom from start to finish, and you can text her when you are on the way.
For a trip this long most people book a full groom, which covers the bath, blow out, haircut, nails, ears and sanitary tidy in one visit. Heavy shedders can add an undercoat blow out, done carefully so the topcoat is not damaged.
