Sherrena moved to Indiana to care for her grandparents after decades of grooming to Colorado and California standards. Working in local shops here, she was appalled by how dogs were treated, and she was once written up for refusing to rip the mats out of a golden doodle. So in 2017 she opened her own shop at 410 W. Main St in Lizton to do things right: humanely, patiently, and one dog at a time.
There are no crates in this shop and no stacked bookings. When you arrive, the previous dog has already gone home. Your dog never waits in a kennel, never gets passed between handlers, and never shares the room with a stranger. For anxious dogs, seniors, and puppies on their first groom, that single difference changes everything.
The shop is a detached building on a quiet corner lot with easy parking, in a small town where the loudest thing on Main Street is usually a passing pickup. Sherrena is a single mother who built this business herself on 30+ years in the industry, and a calm, judgment-free visit is the whole product. Woman owned, dog approved.
